Fundraising ideas

Our fundraising endeavours continue in the UK and South Africa. We would like to thank all those who have donated or raised funds on behalf of The African Pulse. In the meantime, here are some ideas on how to raise funds for us - in case you were stuck!

• Run marathons - or if you can’t quite manage that, how about a half marathon;
• Row a boat or paddle a canoe - there are lots of interesting races and competitions which can be great, if rather wet, fun and can suit all types of participants;
• Be a slave - rent yourself or your services out for a day;
• Have a sponsored non-smoking day/run/walk/swim;
• Have a jumble/boot sale - you’ve always wanted to clear out that attic...;
• Battle of the Bands or an evening of entertainment;
• Auction items on E-Bay;
• Ask for a donation to the project from friends and family instead of presents for Christmas, birthdays or weddings.
